The original home of the European mouflon or mouflon are the stony and dry mountain forests of Corsica and Sardinia. From there, animal lovers and hunters have successfully naturalized this pretty wild sheep in many countries since the 18th century. It lives in small packs led by an old ewe. The mighty, snail-shaped horns of the old ram reach a length of 75 cm.
